How much power is being used when the Computer is on? Is it alot?

And is it alright if I leave it on STANDBY for a night or whatever...I think i heard it uses a couple watts when on Standby..

It doesn't use much any if you have an energy star computer.

What the hell is that?

most of them are energy star, like when you choose your screen saver it gives you those power options underneath to shut off your monitor and hard drive after a certain length of idle time.

stand by and hibernate probably use minimal amounts of power if you wanna still keep it on.
