Restaurant choice for my bday dinner

Featured Replies

My bday is next wednesday and I am trying to pick out a new chicago restaurant. My main aspect is finding a really good Duck meal with a pseudo asian sauce(sweeter flavor)

Any ideas would be great.

Beef jerky and duck. Mmmmmm.

Try Red Light. Awesome food and a nice venue. The duck is excellent. I used to work there a few years back.

Good call. I last ate there in 2006. Very good food and drink choices.

Jimbo could go all out and get the tasting and just request that one of the courses be duck.

I was going to go to Roy's to relive my honeymoon in Hawaii. The menu is not the same as Maui and the duck has a teryaki, spicy mustard sauce.

The search continues.

No italian for me. I want my meal to consist of an awesome duck meal and a fatty boombatty chocolate dessert.

Would you like the waiters to sing "Jingle Bells" to you, as well?

When talking duck I almost always think French. Marche isnt bad. Chez Joel on taylor is good. People like Avec and La Sardine as well.

Joel:

Pan seared Duck Breast & Duck Leg Comfit, served with Wild Mushrooms Fricassée, Potato Galette and Orange sauce

Marche:

Duck “A la Montmorency” 24.95

1/2 Duck, Wild Rice,Michigan Balatone Cherry Sauce

Avec:

Fogo de Chao. Period. I don't even care if they don't have duck.

I hate that place, after about 15 minutes every kind of meat tastes exactly the same. Same sauce, different meat.
