January 30, 200917 yr Hangar 9's roof collapsed under the weight of snow and ice. According to owner Sally, "We will be back".
January 30, 200917 yr I heard about this through the lightning speed of facebook yesterday. HOLY SH**!!!!! Well maybe now they can redesign the inside so they can accompany more people instead of having the center bar in the way of everything.
January 30, 200917 yr Brad Cole is such a cocksucker, this town has been shut down for like 5 days now. I dont like Hangar at all so it's no loss to me, it is better than Stix though.

It's the best, actually the only real music venue in town. Where do you go to hear live music in Carbondale?

I dont think its the ONLY music venue in town, but it definitely is worth checking out. I have seen some really good shows there
January 31, 200917 yr Id say Copper Dragon is a much larger music venue. I saw OAR and Digital Underground there lol.
February 1, 200917 yr Copper Dragon Is much better than Hangar. But to be honest I usually leave CDale to go see shows. Louisville, Memphis, Champaign, St. Louis etc. etc.

Especially considering they rarely have it open in the summer months because they want all of their shows to be in Pinch
