March 28, 200917 yr Author Here's an old Soxtalk favorite. Are we still going to trade Mark Buehrle for him? Nationals waived outfielder Wily Mo Pena. Pena hit .276 this spring, but with just one extra-base hit in 29 at-bats, he didn't attract any interest in trade talks. He'll clear waivers and probably head to Triple-A in order to collect his $2 million salary. Ideally, though, he'd find his way to an organization with a less crowded outfield.
March 29, 200917 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 28, 2009 -> 07:28 PM) He can't play CF, right? 192 games in right. 149 games in left. 136 games in center. He is a defensive liability no matter where you put him.
