November 26, 200223 yr The Sox are interested in Byrd? I haven't seen anything on that. He would be a decent pickup, if he continues the success he had last year. Moyer is a stud too...can't even throw it 90 MPH, but is a stud all the same.
November 27, 200223 yr i thought i read that byrd is staying put....havent heard any interest in moyer either...........but ill do some calling around to find out thats for sure...........i hope thomas makes them wait till the very last day.....while they wait more possible pitchers slip through the hour glass like grains of sand..........kw as usual is a day late and a dollar short.........
November 27, 200223 yr Author Rumors are the Royals aren't going to have the money to make a fair offer to Byrd and that he's going to have to look elsewhere.
November 27, 200223 yr well then i would assume he would want to go back to the nl..... he sure aint going to want to come here.........
November 27, 200223 yr Author The one nice thing about Byrd is that he proved that he can pitch in the AL. This guy would be a great pick up at say 5 mill a year over 3 yrs.
