That's the thing, the Sox want to have more of these OBP guys, and players like Podsednik and Swisher who did get on base, definitely had their share of the called 3rd strike on them. The key is, the Sox need to find good OBP hitters, but not ones with a .240 AVG like Nick Swisher put up last season.
