So first I saw it flash on the bottom of CNN while working out... "Alaska GOP asks Begich to step down" I think to myself, now wtf did he do. Then I come home and read this...

 

So I wonder had McCain/Palin beaten Obama/Biden by say a few thousand votes in some state (like Florida 2000) because a few thousand people there thought Obama was a Muslim, and its confirmed post-election that he's not, should we then hold a special election???

 

This is why Sarah Palin is a complete joke.

If Stevens hadn't lost the election, I fully believe the DOJ would have re-tried their case. Holder alluded to the circumstances, where you have an 85 year old man who's just lost an election because of his ethical lapses, and basically decided it was enough given the misconduct in the case.
