April 17, 200917 yr I am not a leasing agent but do use them for renting out properties that work has. I think they are all commission, you get the freedom to set appointments only when you want to, but you need to generate your own leads most of the time. It could be a lucrative deal, but you have to hustle a little and convince the landlords to accept offers if their rents are too high, which can be tough. Remember it is somewhat seasonal work, we had a guy rent out four units in jan/feb, but that is a rarity because most leases are staged properly to end at the same time
