Garland can eat innings"He's an above-replacement-level innings eater. Plenty of teams need the bulk innings even if it's from a guy who has to be a little lucky to be league-average.

Haha, he called his teammates the Bad News Bears. His 1.50 or so WHIP over the last season and a half suggests he belongs there with them.

If he hates their defense, he should shudder to see ours. If we do pick up a pitcher, I hope we aim higher.

I am glad there is nothing in that that says that the Sox are a player for him like the title suggests.
