September 12, 200916 yr White Sox will finish 14-6 Tigers will finish 9-13 Twins lose enough to disappear... We had a setback tonight, but will take the next to from LA. Meanwhile, the Tigers and Twins continue to keep us in it. Yes. O is for Optimism. O is for Ozzie.
September 12, 200916 yr Tonight's game wasn't any indication that we aren't a good team? We aren't good enough to go 14-6. The team is just flat out mediocre.
September 12, 200916 yr Author Pods and AJ are hitting over .300. Buehrle threw a perfect game. Danks and Floyd don't suck. We have Peavy. We will do this.

You named 2 players who are hitting well, one pitcher who is pitching poorly, 2 who are pitching well, and one who is injured. IM SOLD!!

Sox have absolutely no chance. Sox need to regroup for next year, sir. Your enthusiasm is to be commended, though. Edited September 12, 200916 yr by greg775
September 12, 200916 yr Not a chance that'll happen, but it's nice to see SOME optimism from someone.
September 12, 200916 yr Detroit is scuffling right now. Its a shame the Sox didn't win the last 3 because if they did, they would be only 4 games back. The key is to be 3 games back going into that final series in Detroit. Winning these next 2 in LA would do wonders, but i wouldn't be suprised if they lost them both. Lets face it guys. This team is bone average. But will i stop watching? Hell no. As long as their is a mathmatical chance, I am going to watch.
September 12, 200916 yr Agree that this isn't over yet with 6 games against the Tigers, but this loss really, really, really hurts. It's going to be hard to take 2/3 from the Angels on the road and gain ground on the Tigers who are at home playing Toronto.
