Sunday's Game on WGN Sox v Tigers

Featured Replies

Well the season winds down for the Sox and the off season should be interesting, but let's all get behind the tube and root for the Sox on Sunday. I was pleasently surprised to see ESPN broadcast the Friday game and I got to see Peavy slap those kitty-kats around. He is one great competitor.

The movement on his pitches last night was incredible. His last two starts should dispel the myth that he can't be a Cy Young-type pitcher outside of Petco/the NL.

He did pitch in Comerica, which is a pretty big pitcher's park.

The ball Guillen hit last night would have been a home run at the Cell.

Still, Peavy was downright nasty, but he was still helped out by the ballpark. It also looks like he's a Tiger tamer.

A good pitcher uses the ballpark to his advantage, but I saw nothing on Friday nite to sugest anything, but Jake Peavy outclassed the Tigers period!

I love Hawk and Stone as a team. Great broadcast today to end a lousy sesson.

They had a great season in the booth. I love Hawk.
