I can't blame Dye for claiming he isn't a DH....

 

There are only a half a dozen openings at DH and plenty of applicants.

That trophy really should have gone to the entire team. I'm not taking away what JD did, because he was fantastic as well, but every member of that team played their part at some point during the season or in the postseason to get that team the trophy.

I'm pretty sure every player on the playoff roster played a key role at some point in the playoffs except for Timo.

Jermaine's a good hitter and probably has productivity left. However, his assertion that this was his first bad half in years isn't correct. He posted a .673 OPS in the first half of 2007.
