Would You Deal Jenks to Philly

Featured Replies

Nope, nope, and nope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bobby, other than last year has been one of are most consistent players (2008 would have been even bigger w/TCQ healthy. Think of our 2008 team plus Rios, Jake Peavy, healthy Freddy(minus Javy Vaszquez), go sign Pods , use a revolving dh for a whole season. Keep the Bullpen how it is now!!! .... Sox in 2010!!!!

This is a silly thread. Maybe we should contemplate swapping Konerko for Jeff Bagwell...or Ozzie for Phil Garner...

I've seen all of Lidge I need to see, on my 2005 World Series DVDs...

No way.

If we thought Bobby was bad, wait until we see Brad Lidge. Oh dear lawd.

While I think Jenks would be a great piece to trade as I believe he is nothing more than a very ordinary closer at this point, I don't want Mr. Toad's Wild Ride closing either. Lidge has a great arm, great stuff, but isn't dependable. For someone with the stuff he has to be as bad as he can be, it makes you wonder. I don't want to wonder, I want to win games.

Yes to trading Jenks, but No to Lidge.
