Carlos Castillo Sighting

Featured Replies

Saw King-Sized Carlos on the mound last night for Charlotte in Louisville.

and I do mean king-sized.

The over-and-under on his weight has to be 330 -- and I'm taking the over.

guy has a decent arm, but he obviously doesn't have much want-to to play in that condition.

threw four innings and gave up three earned runs on four hits with two walks and two Ks.

the good news is that Hummel had a double and a homer. He's pushing his batting average toward .300 with decent pop. If Crede doesn't get it together at the plate, he will have some competition for the job next spring. And the competition might do Crede some good.

Armando Rios also hit a grand salami.

Strange that David Sanders didn't pitch in a game that included a 100-minute rain delay.

 Mars is on its closest approach to the Earth for 600,000 years after all

Its great to see Hummel crushing the ball.

In regards to Sanders, I'm glad he's back in AAA where he can get work himself back in. It was absolutely pointless having him in the Sox pen when Manuel was afraid to use him. Sanders is a very good pitcher and I think he will be a huge help to the Sox in September and for the next few seasons at the least.

I bet he'd make Bartolo look like a dwarf...

Between Bartolo Colon and Rick White I think we have more than enough obese hurlers on this team! :)
