July 31, 200322 yr Magglio update. How hot has he been? Here are some numbers... He has a ten game hitting streak going, including 8 straight games with at least 2 HITS! During that streak he is hitting .641 (!!!) with 4 HR's 15 RBI and 8 doubles. Since his average fell to .267 on June 11th he has raised his average 60 POINTS to his high water mark of 2003 of .327 today. In the month of July Maggs is hitting .450 with 7 HR's 24 RBI 13 doubles he has a .495 OBP, .810 SLG for an OPS of 1.305!!! POTM should be a given. If he stays even in the same area code of hottness for the rest of the year, we could be talking MVP.
