August 1, 200322 yr Did anyone not see this coming? My uncle is a Chicago cop, and told me a story about Sammy that was kind of condusive to my previous thoughts about him. Supposedly, Sammy was asked by my uncle's partner how he was doing and he replied "I hit two home runs!" "What was the score?" "Like 10-2 or something, but I hit two home runs!" I knew that the Cubs fans didn't know the actual score, but the players? Ouch!

August 1, 200322 yr i have been looking at sHamme stats yesterday, and i am suspecting that he may be back on the juice. is he getting bigger again?
August 1, 200322 yr Leave it to Sosa to get caught with a corked bat, and then expect an apology from his "critics". What a f***in' moron!
August 1, 200322 yr This is why some Cub fans have even grown tired of Sammy. He's so worried about what he does and not how the team is performing. One of my best friends is a Cub fan and he said that Sosa was his least favorite player on the team even before the corked bat incident. Sammy should just go back to his "media protest" for the rest of his career.
August 1, 200322 yr And if he doesn't get his apology he is going to continue holding his breath... and if that doesn't work he is going to stomp and scream.
