I asked Kotsay if the soap opera with Ozzie & Kenny was media driven or real..he said it was talked about by the players and he thinks 70/30

 

 

Mark Kotsay just told us that he thinks the White Sox are trying to resign Konerko get a LHBat he mentioned Dunn,Huff,Fielder(trade) by name

I for one am glad that Kotsay did not mention Kotsay by name when he brought up left handed bats.

I think the fact that Kotsay has knowledge of this information is a bad sign. I mean, it could easily be common knowledge in the clubhouse, but I'm guessing he's in the works for next year...

I strongly doubt it. I think the better guess would be that those were the bats they were inquiring about at the deadline (the Giants were pretty far back, far enough that I was suggesting the Sox look at Uribe).

A lot of people here have the same information, as does the media. Most of it is speculation either way, I wouldn't be too concerned.
