All or nothing tomorrow

Featured Replies

Tomorrow is the freaking game of the year. Now everygame of course is huge when your in the pennet race, but we need to level the series. No more bulls*** (i.e, feast or famine offense, bad pitching, idiotic managing.). Garland didnt need to get pulled, inexcusable. So he gave up a leadoff walk, atleast let him go the rest of the inning.

Today's crowd in no way deserved a loss. 9 runs wins games unless your the Texas Rangers. Tomorrows crowd will probably be around the same figure for Esteban. But to say that one game decides a series is wrong. Just look back last week and how we destroyed Seattle in the first game, but they took the last two. I know we can win the next two. Este needs to keep us in the game and Sox will pull through.

I'm optimistic in taking the next two, making us 1 game back. After Oakland, we have practically two weeks with Tex and Ana. Who knows what will happen in that time, maybe a winning streak.

I won't dwell on this loss, because it comes down to this: Pitching and bad managing blew this game. This team better step it up tomorrow and Wed. to prove themselves worthy of a divisional crown. After the huge rally in the 6th inning, anybody else see the smile on Tony Penas face. The guy looks like he made a pact with the devil. Hes EVIL.

I really think we needed a sweep to put us up by a game. That woulda been very nice. Now the closest we can get in this series is 1 GB. And then we go to Oakland who could very well sweep us and put us outta the race. And I wouldnt be so optimistic about Anaheim and Texas. Those are two teams that arent going anywhere but could jump up to bite ya...

Does anyone else feel like the pitching is starting to go South as the lineup heats up? Also since Jerry can no longer tinker with the lineup he has to get as much tinker pleasure as possible with our bullpen.

Also, it would be nice to have a manager half as emotional as Tony Pena. That's all I'll say about that.

Oakland comes here, by the way.

A sweep would have been nice, but I didn't expect one.

KC is in 1st for a reason - they're a good team, playing really well and doing it without their best player, Mike Sweeney.

I feel confident with Loaiza and Colon throwing the next two games, but I felt confident with Buerhle throwing Sunday and we saw how that worked out.

As for Anaheim and Texas, the Sox can't afford to take anyone for granted anymore. Every game has to be taken seriously from now on.

There's lots of time left, but every game is big from here on out.

It has seemed like thats the case...

Oh my bad. But either way, Oakland could very well sweep us. Its bad enough that they have Zito, Mulder and Hudson but now they have Harden too. Ted Lillys the only guy Im confident we can hit. But knowing our luck hell probably pitch the day our fifth starter pitches...

E-Lo is pitching tonight, all is good.
