Naw. Not after you told me not to...

Didn't want to have to feel your wrath if it didn't happen.

Let's go!! One game back today. :headbang :headbang :headbang

This is what they got Colon for, games like this.

He needs to crank it up a notch this afternoon. :headbang

games like this are why the Sox got Bartolo

last year this would have been the Todd Ritchie slot.

need the big man to come up BIG and BAd

0-0 Top of 1 - 1 out. :)

What's going with Colon? Is he wild?? HBP and BB without a strike.

He's OK. He starts slow.

He gone! :headbang

He's OK. He starts slow.

starts slow.. his whole life is in slow motion.......... :D

Colon throws away a pickoff, Randa to second.

We'll go to the bottom of the first. 1 hit by pitch, 1 pick off, a walk, a K, an error on Colon on a throw over to first and pop out to Crede.

Goin to bottom of first, 0-0 score

BARTOLO IS AWWWWWWEEEEEEESSSOOOOMMMEEEE!

How can you not like a guy that can throw a low-mid 80's changeup & them a high 90's heater?

Pitching

fastball: sink in the low 90's rise in the high 90's.

change: low-mid 80's that works effectively as an off-speed pitch.

curve: high 80's, low 90's that's faster than most sliders.

Skinny: Each year his change-up gets more effective. The net result is less K's, but a much more fundamentally sound control pitcher.

Defense

The big man can move & hold runners at 1B. He has one of the lowest run % of any pitcher in the AL.

0-0 bot 1st.

Alomar on with a leadoff walk.

Alomar walks

Lee just missed this one

Alomar picked off
