August 7, 200322 yr NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! That means I am going to have to see him when I go to an Astros game!!!!
August 7, 200322 yr HAHAHA! LMAO! How dumb can Houston be? They need a starter to replace Oswalt, and they claim Rick Whiteflag!
August 7, 200322 yr Crap, the Cubs might win that division now after all... hell no. being now an exSox, he will post a 0.62 era, save 23 games, and lead the astros to a division title or wild card spot and for the next ten years people will be b****ing here about why did we ever get rid of Rick White and cursing KW, JR, and JM for it.
August 7, 200322 yr Author I would rather see the Cubs win the division then watch the Astros lose in the first round of the playoffs as usual.
August 7, 200322 yr I would rather see the Cubs win the division you want me to ban you from soxtalk? talk like that can get you tossed really easily!

August 7, 200322 yr Atleast he'll have a role in Houston.....mop-up duty! I think this was more of a strategical move that it was a move to help bolster the Astros' pen. Everyone remembers what kind of success White had last year in St. Louis down the stretch....Houston didn't want to let him do that again. They had a roster spot available, so what the hell, why not?
August 8, 200322 yr Author What the Cubs arent that bad... I wouldnt mind seeing them win the division
August 8, 200322 yr Ok, so now that Houston jumped the gun and let everyone know they wanted White before they could actually sign him, do you think we might to be able to trade him to the Cardinals for a used bag of balls or something?
