Fyi, JPN has seen these guys play on a daily basis. The people writing the scouting reports come down for a weekend series if that and make that statement, most of it just restating what they knew about the kid from the draft than what they actually see with their eyes.

 

Thank you. Most of the scouts are only there for a game or two. But I guess a thumbnail sketch carries more weight than that of someone who's there frequently. I believe it was Hector Santiago who said he didn't have to shake off Phegley once during the 8 shutout innings he threw on May 31st.
