This is my roster. As of today I am thinking my keepers are Kershaw, Hanley, Uggla, Cargo, and either Santana or Posey. Thoughts?

Can you only take one pitcher? Kershaw, Cargo and Hanley are no-brainers. Assuming you can only take one pitcher, I'd go with Uggla. If you can take more than one, I'd go with Romero. That dude is legit and gets better every year. And I'd go with Santana over Posey. Posey will be coming off a major injury and I think Santana is simply better offensively, regardless.

I have to take one pitcher and one hitter at least. After that it can be any combination. So you'd take Romero over Uggla?

That's like a toss-up IMO, but I think I would lean towards Romero. The 30+ home runs from your 2b spot are great, but Uggla will be 32, and those 3 Dunn-like months to start the year have to worry you. Romero has been great and just keeps improving year to year. Being in the AL East is the only thing that worries me about him.

I'd go with Romero. Uggla is a guy you could probably get back in the draft anyway.

It sucks, because there are a couple of other guys I would really like to keep. I hate having to give up any of my catchers. I know some of those hitters are having coming out parties next year.

Keeping Brett Lawrie would be nice

Of all people, I'd love to keep Cuddyer too. That multiposition thing is awesome with his numbers.

I just snagged Matt Moore off of the waiver wire. I am going to sit on him over the winter and decide whether to keep him or Romero based on what Tampa gives as an indication of what his direction will be.
