I am probably the smartest guy on the team but at the same time I am definitely the weirdest too. I think the guys would attest to it. In fact Neal got interviewed by the Sox media dude a week ago and one question was "who was the weirdest guy he had played with", and of course he picked me. I'm not crazy or anything just a bit off the wall. Thats why the bullpen is better becuz it gives me more time to screw around during the game and Wally is in the dugout far from my antics.

Noone is quite as weird as you, sweetie. ;)

Thanks Rex.  I understand your anonymity and I respect it.  I requested the move to the bullpen mainly because I have the mentality of a reliever and I havent had a sore arm since the Bush Sr. administration.  Also, I wanted to show the Sox or for that matter every team, that I am versatile and that I can pitch in any role at anytime.  As you know I have started, spot started, long relieved, set up, closed and been a lefty specialist.  The later 3 things mentioned are what my role has ultimately became since the all star break.

It makes me feel good to know that somebody has noticed me this year.  I think I finally got the bullpen thing figured out.

You just said that you have the mentality of a reliever. Throughout history, relievers have often been known to be quite flaky. Does this apply here? LOL

omg that was just wrong...........

Questions don't hurt, only answers do... :)

speaking of questions.. i met and hung with some of your world crossing guys tonite... oats is quite the charactor...

You know, I have never met the guy and he seems very rough around the edges, but he provides me comic relief almost daily. You didn't get into a discussion about KW, did you?? That could have gotten ugly!

i don't swing that way........... :nono

The perfect fit for a guy in the bullpen..... One sign of being smart is knowing yourself and where best you fit in..

what do you guys at bham think of our recent draft choices????

hsc i wanted to say something real nasty about what you wrote, but unlike you i will refrain.

something about kick and lick :D :whip

ok, if memory serves me right, jim rex and several others said, before the season started that i was wrong

in my announcing that the barons will make the playoff.  :headbang  :cheers

ok guys fess up and tell me i am wrong now.   :D

I'll step up and say I didn't think it would happen. I'll be honest and say I still can't quite figure out how it is happening. The guys have really gotten comfortable in their roles and aren't trying to do too much. They don't score much, but seem to find ways to win. I'll give them credit because I didn't see it coming.
