October 9, 201312 yr I just realized that Steven King's latest book, "Doctor Sleep" is a sequel to "The Shining." That may have moved it to my on-deck circle.
October 9, 201312 yr Anyone read the Ken Follett Century Trilogy books? I finished the first, Fall of Giants (WWI era), and i'm about a third into the second, Winter of the World (WW2 era). If you liked Pillars of the Earth or World Without End they're basically the same just set in a different world with different characters.

October 10, 201312 yr Author I've been reading some mid 1800s stuff and really enjoying it. Jude the Obscure, Therese Raquain, Madam Bovary . . . Really geeky just finished Tony Trigillo Historic Diary a long poem about the JFK assassination and starting on Zaprudred.
