Longoria could be out 2 months

Featured Replies

The "knee injury" last night appears to be a hamstring injury.

Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times hears that Evan Longoria has a hamstring issue which could keep him out for 6-8 weeks.

Longoria left Monday's game with what was originally described as left knee soreness, but it turns out that the injury is actually to his hamstring. While it could have been much worse, the Rays could very well be without their best player until July.

Knowing the Rays, they will just call up some scrub that no one has heard of and he will put up a .800 OPS while Longo is gone.

No, that would be the Twins.

The Rays will replace him with some piece of crap who puts up piece of crap numbers and yet they will still inexplicably win.
