August 16, 200322 yr Twins are kicking the s*** out of KC 14-5 in the bottom of the ninth, and it looks like First Place Cubs will be about as long lived as First Place White Sox, with Houston all ready having beating Cincy 4-2, and the Cubs trailing the Dodgers 10-5 with two outs in the bottom of the 8th at Wrigley. Elvis Hernandez got beaten for 9 ER in 3 1/3 IP by the Twins, while Kerry Wood was wild as hell today giving up 5 ER and 4 BB in just 2 2/3 IP.

I'd rather be looking up at the Royals..... not the Twins. The Sox NEED to win the next 2 with KC winning tomorrow. If that happens, come Monday, the Sox will be in 2nd..... 2 ahead of MN and 1 behind KC.
