I'm just saying right now, but there has never been a single f***ing team who hasn't struggled. Going into the break, he Twins had lost 8 in a row. The Royals, were swept by us, and are now getting their asses kicked by the Twinks. Even the Mariners went a whole month without winning consecutive games. I honest to God think we will make the playoffs.

The teams that should be there are ny, bos, ms, oak. It's a shame one of those 4 won't make it when any of them would lead the central by about 10 gms right now...

But on the bright side one of those teams will have a virtual bye in the first round . . . A kind of perk for having the best record.
August 17, 200322 yr killa, when we were in third and about to pass up the twins, people were saying the same thing from the Twins point of view. this is a three-team race and will be that way the rest of the way. we still have a s***load of games against both teams and we are only two games out. as far as losing to the Angels and Rangers? it sucks, but if i were to lose against certain teams and win against others, I'd rather prove we can beat the best, which is who we will be playing the final month, and if all works out, the playoffs.
August 17, 200322 yr Momentum is meant to be changed. For a while the Sox had it, now the Twins have it and I'm sure its gonna change a few more times between now and then. The key is to play good baseball for the longest time and stay consistent. Sox have failed to do so thus far, but they are lucky...as the rest of the division has as well. Basically you can throw the season to date out and start things off fresh cause at 2 games back its basically like a fresh start for pretty much all of the 3 teams in the division.
