Mr. Paniagua

Featured Replies

As heard on ESPN1000, Bruce Levine stating that Jose Paniagua is going to be observed/examined by sox execs in the dominican, if they see what they like, they must get him a visa then will put him in charlotte for a few days and then get him to Chicago.... more pen help but i dont know that its that good

?

if Paniagua reverts back to his pre-2002 self, it will be a good pickup.

either way, I think it is a risk worth taking, what do we have to lose?

exactly what i was thinking, why not try it, maybe we'll get a gem.

Paniagua has always had a hell of an arm. I suspect the last two season he was hurt and he's finally healthy. I know he's had some rest and hopefully that means he's 100%.

When this guy is on, he's pretty filthy. Either way, if he doesn't pan out you lose 25K, if he does, then the Sox fill the void in the pen and have a guy that can still contribute the next few years.

This has been rumored for like two weeks. Wouldn't you think they've already seen him? Sounds to me like they're on the fence as to whether he can help.
