Trade Question?

Featured Replies

Hey, not like i dont like Colon, but do you think we could get away with a Brandon Webb for Colon trade straightup .... That kid is awesome, and he's only gonna get better, sinker ball pitchers are always gonna stay here, and he's got just as good of a sinker as Derek Lowe does...

check out my sig i would agree

I say Webb gets rookie of the year, but with all this Willis pub, and with AZ not giving web run support... his 8-6 record might not give it to him, but his damn ERA is 2.5... so, it should be close

If Arizona were making a run at it this year, I'd say maybe....but I'm sure that the D'Backs know as well as we do that Webb is a stud, and something to build a rotation around.

By the way AsshatSoxFan, your stats on Webb is missing his CGSO he had... he had it i think about 2 months ago against the tigers if i remember right...(he's on my fantasy team) but anyway, you have him down for 0 CG...

i get my info from espn so ill double check i bet you are right since he is on ALL my team just as dontrelle since i knew ahead of time

I would cream in my pants if we got Webb. Only way I see Arizona makin that trade is if they had serious thoughts or a serious chance of winning the world series. Johnson and Schilling r gettin up there. Their window might be closing...

Brandon Webb has pitched better then Dontrell or at least you could argue the fact and he gets half the hype.

Webb has a freaking whicked sinker and I'd definately take him, but the trade is a moot point cause Colon wouldn't make it through waivers and the Sox aren't moving him.

They will either sign him this offseason or get draft picks for him.

With Arizona'a financial situation, there is no way in hell they make this deal.

Just no way anybody nowadays trades a great young pitching prospect (meaning cheap salary) for a guy getting multimillions, especially a guy who's running hot and cold.
