Was there ever an explanation for the Konerko absence? Is he just trying to get Kepp rolling and it backfired?

Ventura said in the pregame that he just wanted to get some guys who had not played some starts, and he wanted to get more left-handed against Felix.

Well I'm all for Gillaspie playing, I just question the wisdom of sitting Paulie in favor of Kepp when Paulie has hit Hernandez very well.

However, Paulie is old and it's water under the bridge now!

Haha it was an unexplained and unnecessary non sequitur that interests literally no one about a huge exam coming up...and since I don't have the willpower to keep away from the Sox game, it was a good thing it ended so I could get back to it.

GO FREAKING SOX! Taking down King Felix was an unexpected joy

You got it bro!
