Biography:

Acquired by the Chicago White Sox with pitcher Daniel Webb from the Toronto Blue Jays for pitcher Jason Frasor on Jan. 1, 2012. ... Selected by the Blue Jays in the 17th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of Starrs Mill High School in Fayetteville, Ga.

Scouting Report:

Jaye possesses a low 90's fastball, decent slider, and an effective change-up to round out his 3-pitch arsenal. Jaye also seems to have control issues but has improved since adding his change-up.

Career:

Jaye began his 2012 season in Kanny as expected as a 20 yeard old, but after a shaky season, he will repeat the Sally League in 2013 (and is off to a great start).

Currently:

Jaye is in Class A Kanny and dominating the league. He leads his team in W, Ks, ERA, IP, WHIP, while leading the league in wins and IP. He is an early promotion and Sally League All-Star candidate.

Myles Jaye was promoted this morning to hi-a Winston-Salem. In his first start, Jaye gave up 2 runs on 4 hits in 6.0 innings while striking out 6 and walking 1.

Jaye had a strong 2013 campaign starting every single appearance (28) over 2 levels (A-AA). He finished 2013 with 13-8 record and a 3.92 ERA (huge improvement). He also Kd 129 in 163 innings while walking 63. The oppostion batted .266 against him. Although he struggled in his first and only AA start in 2013, he looks to start 2014 in B-Ham.

Showed quality numbers at AA Birmingham as a 23 year old in 2015.
