May 7, 201312 yr Chicago White Sox Information about cancelled games: If you are holding tickets from the 4/19 game, those tickets will be good for the rescheduled game on 8/9 (Friday) at 1:10 p.m. CT. They are not redeemable for another game. If you are holding tickets from the 4/23 game (rained out), those tickets can be used in exchange for any future regular season game on a ticket-for-ticket basis.
May 8, 201312 yr 4/19's game was made as part of a split doubleheader on 8/9, yet 4/23 was made a straight doubleheader(one ticket, two games). Not sure why the sox would do that. Wouldn't the extra gate on a day game in summer weather make more sense?

Wouldn't the extra gate on a day game in summer weather make more sense? Cleveland plays a night game in Baltimore the night before, which is probably why they aren't doing an afternoon start.
