August 23, 200322 yr The thing here is that both sides are right. Manuel is to blame for the absolutely putrid start. I have never seen a team more unprepared to start a season as we were. If you saw the KC series to open the year, they were Detroit bad. Popups being dropped, Carlos striking out when he thought he only had a two strike count, somebody else thought he struck out when he had a one strike count, jeez. But that's ancient history now. For whatever reason (and I say it's Kenny Williams remaking the team) we are clicking on all cylinders. Enjoy it. And moronacy is not a word.

I would've asked that he pitched only five innings, but he gave up one run, granted he had five walks, you have to give him the chance to pitch one more inning, just to see if he can get through an inning without his best stuff. wasn't really a bad move.
