If the Twins win the Wild Card, KC or the Sox would have to put quite a run together as the AL Central Champs to put a together better than the Twins BoSox and A's.
August 23, 200322 yr That really does hurt Oakland's wild card chances. Hudson hurt his hand and skipped his last start. Zito has been struggling. Harden has been getting rocked now that he is not facing Detroit or Cleveland. Lilly is a number #5 and they've added Halama to the rotation. It wouldn't surprise me to see Livan Hernandez in the green and gold soon.

Second, I want to dodge Seattle if at all possible.
August 23, 200322 yr Nice to talk about being in the playoffs realistically. It's nice to talk about being in the playoffs, but we still ain't there yet. I hope our good vibes about finally winning the division doesn't come back to hurt us. Regardless, I wouldn't want to play Seattle 1st either, I think they're the team to beat with all that speed they got in the outfield and if Moyer and Piniero turn it on.
