August 23, 200322 yr I have a question for you if you check this again soon, what is it like to see your teammates and friends traded away? This has got to be something different to deal with, as these are some of the guys who you have worked your way up through the system with. Any personal thoughts from the locker room on how this affects you, and affects the teams in the minors. Thanks in Advance
August 23, 200322 yr You would think that it would be weird but it really isnt. Guys come and go, thats just the nature of the game. It is more weird when your buddies get called up to the show. This year I have seen one of my best friends in this organization, Neal, get called up, along with my best friend growing up, Dan Haren, who is with the Cards.

How do you honestly feel about YOUR chances of making it to the show? Im curious.
August 23, 200322 yr that's what i've always wondered about fans of minor league teams. I would think it would be kind of frustrating to see your best players always leaving in the middle of the year and such.

You get a pleasure out of watching young guys grow up, get better and get promoted. It is part of Minor League baseball.
