CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox have outrighted catcher Miguel Gonzalez to Class AAA Charlotte.

 

 

 

Gonzalez, 22, went 2-9 (.222) in four games (one start) with the White Sox this season after his contract was purchased from Charlotte on September 3. He also hit .254 (43-169) with two home runs and 20 RBI over 53 combined games between Class AA Birmingham and Charlotte in 2013.

 

 

 

With the move, the White Sox 40-man roster is at 39.
