Not gonna rehash the Miggy vs Trout debate, but one asshole voted Trout 7th and two people voted Goldschmidt 6th. Those people should lose voting privileges.

I'm just glad nobody on the Cardinals won. McCutchen was clearly better than the rest of the field. The fact that some Cardinals fans thought Molina or Carpenter should have won is funny.

I think even worse than those two things are the Oakland writer who voted Josh Donaldson the MVP, and the STL writer who voted Molina #1 and Matt Carpenter #2.

At least w/ the thing you posted, neither the Angels nor the Dbacks made the playoffs, so maybe his reasoning was that all the candidates whose teams DID make it automatically got voted higher.

I don't mind that as much. You want home town guys to represent. Molina, Carpenter, and Donaldson were all really, really good this year.

Only two ballots didn't have McCutchen first. Both were from St. Louis. One went Molina/McCutchen, the other went Molina/Carpenter/McCutchen

It was Bill Ballou from the Worcester Tele & Gazette. The Yankees didn't make the playoffs, the other teams did.

1. Davis

2. Cabrera

3. Donaldson

4. Cano

5. Beltre

6. Pedroia

7. Trout
