Lots of posters have talked about our tough schedule. I guess that included the Tigers.

that is the tough part of the schedule....lol.... we cant seem to beat the s***ty teams but have fun killing the good ones..go figure....i just dont understand it......*shaking head back and forth*

The Sox don't show up when they play bad teams. They don't hit and a lot of times they don't pitch or field the ball well either. This can be attributed to overlooking the "bad" teams while focusing on the better teams like the Yankees, Royals, etc. This has never made sense to me because you would think in a professional league there would be no teams that you take lightly but in the Sox case this seems to be the problem.

that is it exactly. for some reason, the Sox need to be underdogs. any type of advantage on paper for them is a disadvantage in play for them.

I think overlooking bad teams is a problem in sports period. That's a reflection of your coach or manager. Good ones makre sure their team is ready to play whether it be good team, bad team, home, or away...

This is where JM fails as a manager. If the team isn't motivated for these teams, it is his job to get them motivated.
