September 1, 200322 yr I thought I'd make my own post before catching up on the others. Wow ... after that first horses*** game vs. Detroit that pissed us all off, we ended up winning the series and 4 of 6 on the trip. Awesome! You can't beat that anyway you look at it. Now I'll read Donkey's post and the others, but wow ... four of six. The Royals are lucky Game Two got rained out. They woulda got swept today. What can you say about E-Lo, Crede, Maggs, C-Lee and Big Hurt? They are gods.
September 1, 200322 yr I think that makes us 28-15 since the break. I hope the can keep it up. We got a nice test comin up with the Bo-Sox on Tuesday and Wendsday. I like our chances at home...

I'm glad we are going to miss Pedro's turn in the rotation. We put the "Hurt" on the Yanks last week and set them up to really stumble in the Fens. BoSox did not take advantage of and lost 2 of 3. Let's hope they leave Chicago with a 4 game losing streak.

September 1, 200322 yr It's more than winning 4 on this trip it was beating the Yankees 2 of 3 in NY. If the scores in NY were reversed and we swept the Tigers there would still be several questions marks. Winning the Yankees series was critical.

Winning the Yankees series was critical. very good point - for all the scoffers, the 2-1 in both places is psychologically better than a 1-2 NY and 3-0 Detroit even though both are 4-2 results - thanks for the perspective!
