September 28, 201411 yr Author i was able to go in 2012 at medinah when I was living in Chicago. Really cool experience, however it's very hard to actually see more than a handful of holes and you don't really know what's going on in the greater picture of the match. I'm only about 70 miles away from Chaska and am considering getting tickets for 2016. I just like watching the event on tv so much, I may only consider going on Friday

I always forget how far outside the Cities Chaska is. In my head it's by Minnetonka, but it's really not.
