I'm really happy for him, but the fact that this was released in October and took until December 2nd to be picked up by even semi-mainstream media is a good thing for our society.

I'll continue to treat Dale Scott as I treat all umpires - by assuming he's incapable of accurately calling balls and strikes

I would really like to believe that but ESPN puts anything that is gay related in sports on its front page. On a slow news day, they'll throw Twitter drama on its front page.

 

I think its more safe to assume that this story just slipped past ESPN.
