September 7, 200322 yr but man, it did my heart good to see the guys mashing in those uniforms again. also, i like the love Fox was giving the sox.... i am so used to everyone being down on the sox.... it was nice to see them treated like a "big league" team.... i could get used to this damn... its been a while since baseball was this much fun to watch man, did they look good in those throwbacks today oh, and i am watching the game at 1:30 am... i love my TIVO

September 7, 200322 yr I hated those unis in 1983, but they look better the second time around. I also love the marketing. Remember when you only wanted the currect cap? When the team changedeh the old one went into the garbage and the new one was purchased. Being caught wearing the wrong cap branded you a loser. And there was 1 official style. No glitz or graphics, you wore the one the players wore. Ahh misty water colored memories of the way we were . . .
September 7, 200322 yr those unis are all the rage nowadays. i see more retro sox hats than regular ones. I never wear my regular black and white Sox hat. I have tons of the Hall of Fame collection caps that I love. Right now it is the 1959-1963 hat. I also love my 1926 and 1917.
September 7, 200322 yr I'm sporting the B&W classic right now ~~ and proudly ~~ Ones I will never wear are the "gimmee" caps from games. And may I offer this bit of trivia. The are caps not hats. Hats have brims and caps have bills. Brims go all the way around. Think 1920's stylin' Sweep, how sweet the sound . . .
