Opening Day Weather

Featured Replies

2 weeks from the home opener.

Arizona is in a heat wave for the next week. But sunny.

Charlotte next Friday-- 75, with possible showers

Kansas City looks decent next weekend for workouts.

Kansas City on 4/6-- 68, sunny; Wednesday and Thursday look warm too

Chicago 4/10-- 48, sunny; the rest of that weekend looks a little warmer.

Looks good for Charlotte on Friday, and nice over the weekend in KC for the workouts.

KC on Monday- 77 and cloudy & windy

The rest of the time in KC looks ok.

Charlotte is sunny and 80 tomorrow.

Chicago next Friday- Sunny and 54

Saturday is sunny and 61

Speaking of opening day weather ... it made me think about how this board has seasonal analogies.

Fathom hibernates all winter, not posting on this board and then he blooms in the spring, like the leaves on the trees, the ivy on the walls, etc. The arrival of Fathom is the arrival of spring and baseball.

I hope both OPENER and HOME OPENER are played as scheduled.

Monday looks real good in KC. Wednesday and Thursday...not so much.

Next Friday is typical OD Weather. mid -50's, maybe some rain.

Friday looks like low 60's , cloudy

Tomorrow- nice, and 100% chance Steve Stone calls it a "lively ballpark".

Outside shot of a rain delay, but they'll play. Tornado Wednesday night in KC? Stay tuned.

Have tickets for Sunday. Unfortunately, looks like even if Sale is all good to go, weather on Wednesday and Thursday in KC might ruin his return in Chicago.

Oh, I don't know. If only one game is rained out, I believe you'll still see Sale on Sunday, and that way, he won't even be missing a start.
