May 14, 201510 yr Umpires ruled that all fielders must be within the lines when a pitch is delivered. I think I actually read that once before. The catcher is the only fielder allowed to be in foul territory when the pitch is delivered.

May 27, 201510 yr We tried to do this when I was a freshman in high school. Umps didn't allow it and just as you would have it, we lose on a wild pitch.
