5th starter

Featured Replies

Instead of using Wright if we continue to use the 5 man rotation, why not use Scott Schoeneweiss? He was a starter last year for the Halos. Danny Wright has done a pretty good job out of the bullpen too.

I say give it a shot.

Eh, Wright did well out of the pen. It woudl be worth a shot. He couldn't possible do worse than Wright did in Boston. Could he?

Probably not.

Schow hadn't thrown more than 40 pitches in one outing all year, and he can't get out right handed hitters. It would be a disaster, plus it would shorten our pen.

Scot is not stretched out for a starting role. By next spring, expect to see him vying for one.

How many pitches did Wright throw yesterday? You're probably right, Manuel ought to just go to the 4 man rotation for christ's sake.

Do you really want to go to a four man rotation now? There can't be more than 2 or 3 starts left for the 5th starter and I'd let the likes of Cotts, Wright, and Schoeneweiss share the work.

Yes I do. I don't care what people say about Kansas City being 3.5 games out and down. This is a young team, when motivated by Pena they can become very dangerous. This is the end of the season, we should only be sending our very best out there.
