From a legal perspective Dan Halem says MLB fairly comfortable an international draft is viable. Would have to be bargained with union tho

    It would boggle my mind why the union would be against it. It would free up more cash for their membership.

    That would help smaller market teams a ton. When it comes to prospects it should be a level playing field.
