It would be more interesting if you showed us the players that got them this ranking and how those players actually contributed to their winning. In the Blue Jays 2012 list, they actually helped the Mets a lot more.

Would have been nice if he had made the playoffs once. Or more than 1 winning season. Or if he hadn't traded a future hall of fame pitcher plus another for 1 year of Rich Zisk.

Following the teachings of Veeck isn't exactly a pathway to baseball success.
