And is 32 looking for a 4-6 year deal which is why I think the Cards end up looking at one of Cespedes/Upton. I'm leaning towards the Cards sign Upton due to his age, power, defense in LF and speed. I haven't seen anything to indicate the Cardinals preference to a left or right bat, just that they are looking for a LF bat. According to Nightengale, the Cards have interest in Upton, Cespedes, Gordon and CarGo but nothing so far indicates which side of the plate they prefer.
