It is about 11:53, and I'm sitting here thinking about this. I am thinking about what has gone wrong. For once I will blame Jerry Manuel for something. The man should have flip flopped the rotation so that Jon Garland could have pitched. Seriously, that could have blown our season right then and there. Right now I am also thinking of the crap umps we have had this season. Crede could have homered in that one game, and the Sox should have done anything for balls and strikes in the other games, whatsoever. I also am thinking about our offseason gaps.

I remember hearing something along those lines. I think it was Hawkins they were talking about. They have some issues with next year like we do too, atleast were not the only ones.

I'd like to see us make a run at some of the Twins players, might teach us something about winning big games.

 

Jones and Stewart are two I wouldn't mind seeing on the Southside.

Despite all of you that hate Pierzynski (which I don't like his attitude either), there's no denying that he is a good player.

 

He can hit for avg, he's a solid catcher and he always seems to come up with a clutch hit or a big play.

 

Twins probably won't have him much longer with Mauer coming through the minors.

 

I know it would never happen, but I wouldn't mind one bit if he was on the Sox. He's a royal pain in the ass and other teams hate to face him, but if he was on our side, I think people would feel much differently about him.

 

Mienkiewicz, on the other hand, doesn't even justify discussion.

If Hawkins is available, sign him. The guy is an absolute stud and if Guzman or Jones become available sign them too. Those are three guys on the Twins I'd take in a heartbeat.

 

As far as Jose, ditch him. Of course he's starting once again tonight. JM, USE TONY G, especially against lefties. Plus, for pete sake, don't get that option to vest.
