they out hit the Twinkees in every game. Ok they tied in the second. Yet they found a way to lose every game, holding the lead for a grand total of .5 innings.

When you can't execute plays like bunts, double plays kill you, especially when you can't run.

 

We never had a hard time getting hits this season, but when it comes to turning them into something, it's just wasted chance after wasted chance.

 

We've gotta pick up someone who can do the little things for next season.

 

This swinging for the fences bulls*** has gotta stop.

I said it during the games too.....they were outhitting the twins.....just not getting the hits that mattered

ytz have we not been screamin for the small ball..(expically against the twins in their dome) all season???? kinda hard to get it though when everyone we have keeps their eyes on fences instead of moving runners over.......

Now I wonder what the #'s with RISP look like? Without even looking I'd be willing to say that the Twins hit at least double what the Sox did.
